We make it easy to plan your Senior Trip

Specialized Destination Team

We are available to assist with arrivals and departures, and attend events and activities during the trip! All Breakaway Beach trip leaders go through a full background check, and extensive training prior to travel.

Leader to Student Ratio

We maintain a great student-to-leader ratio to ensure that students can easily find the support they need whenever assistance is required.

Student/Parent Information Sessions

These sessions are held throughout the year to provide clear lines of communication between our company and our clients.

Payment Plans

We offer easy monthly payment plans to accommodate all travelers.

Online Profile Account & Monthly Emails

We provide each traveler with a personal online profile, where you can easily access all your trip details. Plus, we also send monthly emails with important updates and tips to keep you informed every step of the way.

Emergency Phone Line

We provide a dedicated emergency phone line that both parents and students can use in case of any urgent situation. This service is available 24/7 to ensure that help is always just a call away, offering peace of mind throughout the entire trip.

How it Works

Group travel made easy. Find your trip, pay over time—we’ll handle the rest. No stress. No drama. Just travel.

Breakaway Beach provides all the necessary means for a wonderful travel experience from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect from the process:

1. Planning Your Trip

A dedicated Travel Specialist will coordinate a call, virtual meeting, or in-person meeting for you and your group to explain what Breakaway Beach offers, discuss destination options, and answer questions to get your group started. 

2. Registration/Sign-Up

Once the group’s trip is set, you can start signing up! Parents/students can visit the Breakaway Beach website to register for their school’s trip.

You create a customer profile for the traveler and make an initial deposit online to reserve your spot. If there are additional travelers in your party, each traveler must create their own individual customer profile and make an initial deposit per traveler.

3. Payment Plans and Options

Breakaway Beach offers a monthly ​payment plan and accepts multiple payment methods for our customers: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted. Payments can be made online with a credit/debit card via your online account(s), over the phone with a credit/debit card, or by mailing a check to our office.

4. Pre-Travel Information & Documents

Our team will send a “Know Before You Go” email 2-3 weeks prior to travel that will highlight all pertinent information for your upcoming trip. 10-14 days prior to your trip, Travel Documents will be available to print from your online account, which includes vouchers and other important travel details.

5. Ferry Transfers

Once your group arrives at your destination, you will be greeted by our Breakaway Beach team wearing our recognizable teal shirts and waiting at the transfer area. Our team will escort the group to the hotel in direct, private ferry port transfers. 

6. Welcome Orientation

Upon arrival at the hotel, Breakaway Beach team will meet with the group to discuss the check-in process, local customs, Code of Conduct, event itinerary, and more.

7. Pool, Beach, and Evening Events

Breakaway Beach will provide the group with an itinerary of the week’s events. Depending on the week of travel and destination, this may also include excursions, suggested events, and more. These events are filled with themed events like the All-White Party, and activities offered on-site

8. Easy Hotel Check-Out and Transfer

When the trip comes to an end, our dedicated Breakaway Beach team members will assist travelers with their hotel check-out and provide scheduled transportation for their return ferry home.

Our #1 priority is safety. Please be aware of our guidelines that are in place to keep you and your group safe. Some are actual laws, but most are just common sense.

The Breakaway Beach

Code of Conduct

Fighting and violence is not tolerated. Anyone involved in a fight or altercation may be immediately removed from the trip at own cost.

Possession of illegal drugs is prohibited. Authorities may be contacted and will result in immediate removal from program at own cost.

Responsible consumption of alcohol is allowed only for individuals 18 years and over.

There is a strict no alcohol policy in all common areas of the hotel and on-board any bus.

Only Breakaway travelers who are registered at your hotel are allowed in your room.

Travelers will be required to wear their Breakaway Beach wristband at all times during the trip.

No person shall impede the enjoyment or safety of others. Intimidation, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

We believe in yes means yes, and only yes means yes. No person shall engage in nonconsensual sexual activity. Any form of sexual violence will not be tolerated.

Respect all bus, hotel, excursion, venue, and Breakaway property.

Quiet hours between 10pm and 7am must be observed in all public areas of the hotel.

Zero noise starts at 1am — All travelers must be in a room at this time.

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. No smoking in rooms or buses.

If the Breakaway Beach Code of Conduct is broken, the traveler may receive a warning with conditions a phone call home to parents, or could be dismissed from the program at parents/guardians expense

Expectations for Breakaway Travelers and Parents

Safety is Breakaway Beach’s #1 priority, however, parents and travelers need to have an open and honest conversation about proper expectations and appropriate behaviour while traveling.

Expectations of Travelers:

Act like an adult & treat others with respect.
Be responsible for your own actions.
If you’re the age of majority, you must drink responsibly.
Be respectful of other guests, especially during quiet hours.
Bring any emergency directly to Breakaway Beach leaders who are always ready to provide assistance.
If you can be smart and safe back home on a Friday night then you will have a safe and fun experience on Breakaway Beach.

Expectations of Parents:

Know the exact location of every traveler at all times.
Set proper expectations of behaviour while away from home.
Have a conversation about decisions your child may be faced with while traveling.

Our Team

  • Breakaway Beach provides the highest team-to-student ratio in the industry to assist in your student’s safety and ensure they have the time of their life!  
  • Onsite Breakaway Beach wristbands indicate each student as a Breakaway Beach traveler and have the 24-hour emergency phone number printed on them. This helps our team identify and assist our travelers in knowing they are part of our group.
  • Our Breakaway Beach Team is at all scheduled events from beginning to end, whether a day event, night event, or any excursion that Breakaway Beach offers.
